It worked perfect. If anyone has doubts about using a VPN, the VPN is downloaded from the Play store and you just have to install it and connect without having to configure or install anything strange.

This was a painless process. Although the requirement for the VPN installer was a bit questionable, I installed it, followed the directions and removed it once the process was complete. For anyone who has multiple accounts on their Xbox, ensure your Xbox is set as your "home Xbox" under your microsoft account. If it's not, log into the Xbox with your microsoft account and designate the xbox as your home xbox. Once this is done, any account in that Xbox will have the game pass ultimate.
